11.04. - 14.04.2016 Joint Meeting of the Membrane Sections of the French and German Biophysical Societies "Biophysics of Protein-Membrane Interactions: From Model Systems to Cells" in Bad Herrenalb, Germany
Visit us at the booth of our cooperation partner Nanion Technologies and see how Ioneras MECA Technology is working with the Orbit16 and the Orbitmini of Nanion. As usual, we will make live recordings at the booth so bring your own protein for some live, bilayer recordings!
Ionera's MECA Technology is also featured within the workshop of Nanion Technologies:
Measure More Membrane: HTS Compatible Giga-Seal Patch Clamp,
Cardiomyocytes and Artificial Bilayers
Dr. Ekaterina Zaitseva & Dr. Conrad Weichbrodt
Tuesday April 12th, 20:30
The main focus in this talk will be on
the Orbit 16 which is a parallel device for efficient formation of and
recordings from up to 16 lipid bilayers at once, for parallel
bilayer-reconstitution of ion channels and nanopores. Using Micro
Electrode Cavity Array (MECA, Ionera), a 4 x 4 array of circular
micro-cavities in a highly inert polymer, the bilayers are automatically
formed by remotely actuated painting (Ionera- SPREAD), which all will be
demonstrated during the session.
Join this presentation and see how
these outstanding platforms can add up to your work: SyncroPatch
384/768PE, Patchliner, CardioExcyte 96, Port-a-Patch and in detail Orbit
16!
We look forward to seeing you!
